Cheney Mills AR is an augmented reality simulation of the historic Cheney Mills site, made accessible so anyone can experience the history behind the rise of one of the most prominent corporate organizations in the late 1800s/early 1900s.
The Cheney Mills rose to prominence as one of the leading textile manufacturers in the United States, with silk being their primary source of income. During the war effort, they were also instrumental in providing the United States government with nylon and rayon fabric used in parachutes and other equipments.
